mental health Therapy based in WI
Psychotherapy services for individual adults via telehealth platform.
Hi! I’m Abby, Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, and I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly clinical. If you’re here, something probably feels heavy whether that’s anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship concerns or substance use patterns that are hard to break. Reaching out can feel scary. My goal is to make that first step lighter. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, judgment-free space where you can show up as you are. Therapy is a collaborative process. We’ll tailor evidence-based strategies to fit you and your goals.
I’ve worked across multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient therapy. That means I’ve supported people in the thick of crisis and also in the quieter, steady work of maintaining growth. I understand how symptoms evolve, how progress can feel nonlinear, and how important it is to build skills that actually stick outside the therapy room.
I love watching people realize they’re stronger than they thought. Seeing “I can’t do this” turn into “I handled that.” Walking alongside you as you build resilience, confidence, and a life that feels like yours again - that’s the good stuff. If you’re ready to do the work, I’d be honored to join you.

Types of therapy offered
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) studies how thoughts, feelings, and actions affect each other. In therapy, people learn how these influence one another.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has four parts: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Each part teaches practical skills for everyday life. DBT’s goal is to build emotional stability.
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy that helps people heal from trauma. It lets clients work through parts of their trauma that regular talk therapy might miss.
-
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for treating anxiety and fears. It works very well for OCD and anxiety by having you face feared situations while stopping safety behaviors.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) teaches people to notice thoughts and feelings without getting stuck on them.
-
Strengths-Based Therapy uses a person's strengths to help them grow. It finds what a person is good at and shows how to use those strengths to handle everyday problems.
